The War Within (2005)

This nuanced, realistic, and well-paced film focuses on the internal conflict of a man who is about to commit an act of terrorism in New York City and, in doing so, also explores the nature of terrorism. A commendable effort, The War Within offers some insight, but the film lacks sufficient depth and characterization, and is therefore not fully engaging.
