A History of Violence (2005)

I appreciate that the film takes its time to establish the characters and the atmosphere. The last third is not as engaging as the first hour, but the more-than-meets-the-eye story and the strong cast (Viggo Mortensen, Maria Bello, Ed Harris, William Hurt) make this a worthwhile film.
