Band of Brothers

Last week, I watched the ten-part World War II miniseries Band of Brothers, which I actually have not seen until now. I saw three episodes on Monday, three on Tuesday, and four on Wednesday; I saw some of the bonus material on Wednesday and the rest on Thursday.

I wholeheartedly agree with those who are of the opinion that this excellent miniseries is one of the best TV series that have been made. All the actors are perfectly cast and bear a striking resemblance to the real-life soldiers they are portraying. Epic, important, engaging, intense, brutal, emotional, realistic—Band of Brothers is a masterpiece and an amazing achievement.
